“Sight Aide” is an attachment, which could be easily installed on the bottom of a blind cane. It is suitable for most sticks. The “Sight Aide” aims to transmit radar signal and transform it into an acoustic signal. Then, the acoustic signal will be sent to the visually impaired persons earpiece using Bluetooth.
If there are some obstacles on the ground in front of the person, the sound from the earphone will become louder. Alternatively, a decrease in the volume means there is a sunken area ahead. “Sight Aide” utilizes hearing to remedy the lack of visual sense to provide a strong sense of security to the blind.
