The idea of this project was to take the audio amplifier and strip it down to it's essentials, an amplifier powerful enough to drive most speakers but still fits on you desk. All controls apart from the volume control are stripped away, leaving room for a large and super tactile volume control.
The prototype uses a class-D 2X50w amplifer to drive the speakers and it also houses a 2x80mW headphone amplifier. You connect to it either via AUX cable or via the built in Bluetooth 4.0 chip.
