Atacama / Cabinet

Atacama

EVERY PIECE TELLS A STORY
Inspired by Chuquicamata, the biggest coppermine on earth located in the Atacama desert in Chile, the cabinet translates the aesthetic of this poetic place into a hinch system. It consists of about 400 pieces which are CNC milled, put together by hand and which create the unique pattern of the hinch‘s profile. The computer aided production combined with individual data allows every cabinet to be unique but industrialized.
