According to statistics of the Brazilian Society of Burns (Sociedade Brasileira de Queimaduras), a million cases of burns happen in Brazil every year, and children represent two-thirds of the victims, which means that almost six hundred sixty thousand children suffer with the problem. Today, there are only prevention and first aid guides available. There are no materials which indicates the next steps after recovering from a burn accident, beyond the psychological effects that a injury like this can cause, what I find very controversial if we go back to those numbers. As a burn survivor, I decided to change that. I present to you, Empatia.
