Kitesurf is a sport that is in growth all over the world, but unfortunately, the equipment to practice this sport is expansive for a developing country such as Brazil. We believe that sport can change people`s life, so in this project we designed a board and a method to manufacture only using materials found in Brazil making it cheap, easy to manufacture and high quality. The production cost of this board is 10% of an imported board. We also designed the fins to be produced using 3D printing technology, so people can print at home or at maker spaces spending less than U$ 2.00 per fin and reducing the shipping cost and environmental impact.
