Float Forwarder

Float is an innovative lumber transporter that greatly reduces ground damage to forest floors by reducing weight and ground pressure through an increased surface contact area. The front and rear module drive slightly offset from each other to utilize all of the available path created by the lumber-harvester which it follows. While following the harvester, float charges its batteries from the harvesters engine. When it is fully loaded, it autonomously drives to the set spot by the access road to unload the lumber and stacks it according to size. It allows an the harvester operator to work independently and more efficiently.
