Because of light’s popularity, the styles, materials and operation principles have improved continuously to catch up with people's step of life since it was invented. But these changes seem to be still: no matter how magnificent the lights look, they always have changeless shapes and are fixed in a changeless place in the room. What's more, you always need to turn on or off them via switches. Since technology has stepped foreward a lot, why not overthrow the existing concept of light to create something new: it should not have a stationary shape, can move intelligently and can be turned on or off by interacting with your hands directly.
