iF PUBLIC VALUE STUDENT AWARD 2016

iF PUBLIC VALUE STUDENT AWARD 2016

Protagged is an emergency call device combined with an alarm siren and a color spray.
By pressing the e-call buttons your GPS-position will be sent to the police, while a loud alarm starts to distract the perpetrator.
After the (blue) e-call buttons are pressed, it is possible to use the color spray function.
The colour is very permanent on skin and clothes. It will stay for at least two weeks, even after several washings. The color is a key feature to find the offender faster for further investigation.

Protagged addresses one of the world’s worst acts of violence – rape – and offers a combined device designed to deter a potential rapist from committing the act. All it takes is a single press of the finger to activate different warning signals and defensive functions that have never been seen in this combination before.
