Sensemate
Sensemate

Sensemate is a product family that helps deaf and hard of hearing people to receive sound alerts at indoors. The set consists of a waterproof wristband, sensors with a screen, and a charging dock. The wristband, which can be used as a watch, receives and converts sound signals as visual and vibration feedback. The wristband has a screen and a button with two functions. When the button is pushed shortly, the alarm vibration is turned off. When it is pushed for three seconds it sends a message to another user. Mobile sensors can be placed near to the sound source after simply choosing a representative icon related to that source.
