iF PUBLIC VALUE STUDENT AWARD 2016

Elder Green is a flowerbed for use in horticultural therapy. According to studies, there are many flowerbeds that are unsuitable for elderly people and thus limit the therapy effect and the joy people might otherwise have. Elder Green is designed as a modular structure that can be adjusted to individual needs. The material is made from wood. There are several types of arrangements for various environments. The horticultural therapist can stand in the center and easily interact with people. Elder Green can efficiently increase elderly people’s attention and achieve better treatment outcomes, where elderly people also feel respected.

Thanks to everyone who loves our design. With designing Elder Green, we wanted to contribute to achieving better results in horticultural therapy. It’s a great honor to receive the iF PUBLIC VALUE STUDENT AWARD 2016 because the effort we made to improve people’s quality of life has been recognized by iF.
