SoVi - sonic view / barrier-free shopping

SoVi - sonic view

For blind people it's hard to go grocery shopping independently, because product information is only visually accessible. But every one of us has certain priorities while shopping for groceries and we all have to deal with small printed numbers + abbrevations: allergy suffers, vegetarians, those who count calories, etc...
To solve this problem we need SoVi: A reading device and the app in which we can create our own profile. If packages of products were fully covered in a nearly invisible code, SoVi was able to decode it and to send all the information we need into our ears - just by toching the packing.
We need barrier-free grocery shopping!
