PMQ, before revitalization, was the Police Married Quarter in Hong Kong for decades. It now serves as a platform for young design energies connecting to the world, aiming to become the landmark of creative industries through design and innovation adding values to Hong Kong. The design of PMQ identity respects the past yet lays eyes on the future. Ten different typefaces of “P,” “M” and “Q” orchestrated 1,000 random combinations of PMQ, reflecting the ever changing stories happening in PMQ, and also signifying Hong Kong is an innovative city with forward thinking and always looking for changes.
