The direct selling company Vorwerk maintains a constant dialog with its customers in America, Europe, Asia and Australia – through demonstrations of its superior products in the customer’s home, at its bricks-and-mortar shops and also via online shops. The "Vorwerk Annual Report 2014" showcases unusual forms of communication – such as criminal codes, power symbols and the ABC of birdsong – with an ironic twinkle and interactive design elements. The playful features invite the readers to take a closer interest – a concept that has been around since the 1980s but never comes across as dry and dusty thanks to the modern interpretation.
