Twisture / home furniture

These DIY furniture kits are usually assembled through very basic and simple horizontal or vertical pieces, and some can argue that the simple and sleek design can be rather “limited” or “bland”. I wanted to find other possibilities that can extend beyond the norm of vertical and horizontal shape based furniture. Through numerous idea excavation, I came up with an idea that incorporates ‘origami’ into the furniture building process. By folding a paper through a specific and organized sequence, a paper can be transformed to a variety of shapes which are only limited by your imagination.

I call this innovation ‘Twisture’.
