Mantle is an extremely lightweight fabric pendant lamp. The screen is made of four-way stretch wool jersey. It is put into shape by inflating a negative mold into a hollow body. Starch impregnation is used solidificate the fabric. After drying, the air is let out and the screen remains in shape. The screen is attached to a ring with a spring mechanism so it can easily be put into the groove of the holder. The flat LED panel with diffuser allows the screen to be fully lit directly without visible light source.
