Faqlo that is rich in delicate sentiments incorporates the wonders of the tribal traditions, such as people’s use of rocks as the base, and building log houses on them. The designers adopted the material perspective with the rock materials slip cast in layers to expand Sapud’s creative space.
In the work ‘Faqlo’, we tried to expand more creative possibilities for the wonders of the tribe that Sapud wishes to convey: the rocks (mock rocks) made by slip casting were combined with layered wood boards. Through various cutting and carving, we attempted to break away from the restrictions of the original raw materials of pebble stone.
