Material studies aiming at developing ecologically and economically reasonable, design-oriented re-use for industrial cotton waste of the company möve. Colored and uncolored yarn remnants, shearing waste, tumble dryer lint and selvedge waste from terry cloth production are processed into sheet materials in different processes, such as the airlay and laminating. The textile waste is combined with bioplastics like PLA fibers or starch based impregantion. In further prototypes using processing methods like thermoforming, stiching or the combination with other support materials the potentials for interior products are revealed.
