In Korea, there is a trend in which every 14th day of the month is a special
anniversary when people give each other gifts.
This is generally known as the ‘Fourteenth Day’, and teenagers have widely embraced it since the 1990s. The date 14 was implemented because of
Valentine’s Day, which has existed since long before the trend started.
With the recollection of my past experiences, in which I exchanged gifts with friends every month, I made a ‘Fourteenth Day’ commemoration poster.
