Most Parkinson’s patients rely on Levodopa (L-DOPA) which is converted to dopamine in the brain. But within a few years of treatment, the effects start to last for a shorter period of time (“the wearing-off effect”) and patients experience shaking, rigidity, balance problems, depression and many other symptoms.
Many patients cited tremor as the most disabling symptom which leads to less interaction with others, social anxiety, depression and other mental disorders. So here I want to propose a wearable device to help them experience less tremor in hands and live a healthy and normal life.
