Many bystanders of a cardiac arrest fail to attempt to give CPR because they are unsure of how to do it properly, or they are scared of risk for bloodborne and airborne diseases like HIV, hepatitis B and tuberculosis. Furthermore, victim may sometimes vomit in the rescuing process while unconscious. It is not easy to overcome all mental barrier of contacting victim’s secretions directly.
CPR Mask is a one-way valve mask that provides rescuer with protection from victim’s vomit and blood while performing artificial respiration, and it also clearly indicates how to wear and use by ordinary surgical mask, without need for words or symbols.
