Tabao / Take-away Drink Bag

Tabao is an elegant reimagining of the iconic plastic takeaway bag for drinks and soups used in Singapore and some parts of South East Asia.

The traditional takeaway bag is a deeply integral part of Singapore's rich food heritage and cultural identity. However, in recent years it has been replaced by more convenient and sturdy Styrofoam cups that not only cost more but are also culturally irrelevant, bulky and consumes more energy to transport. Unlike current bags, Tabao provides sufficient structure to stand on it's own while still preserving the rich cultural heritage of the uniquely Singaporean gastronomic experience.
