In Germany 50% of the population suffer from high blood pressure.
But only half of all patients are compliant to their therapy.
Apparently sick persons have the psychological need to forget about their disease and to feel healthy. »watchdog« motivates patients to take their pills and do sports without reminding them about their suffering. Instead they do good for their digital pet which they care about. A wearable device measures the blood pressure of the patient – the higher the blood pressure the more furious the »inner dog« becomes. The better the patient treats him-/ herself the nicer the dog becomes. // designed for smartwatches
