Nest / Cradle

Nest
Nest

The cradle for a newborn baby, inspired by the motif of branches and a bird nest, designed for a baby up to 3-4 months old until the child starts to move more actively. The cradle is easily and quickly assembled from a few parts: the supporting legs, the main stick, plugs and cloth. For this reason the object is easily stored. Other family members could use it in the future. The cradle’s main constructive stick can function as a hanger used to place easily and quickly accessible children’s accessories and various baby essentials. The materials used are a hard wood - oak, strong metal connective parts, natural wool and cotton.
