When a car drives immediately behind bigger vehicles ( such as trucks an cargo cars), its driver’s view is always blocked. Without knowing the remaining period of time for green lights, the driver always follows the cars at its front non-stop, without realizing it has gone through a red light. Now, we put each traffic light at some distance with the other, casting a shining light at the other side of the light whenever a red light is about to on. This creates a warning, allowing the driver to notice the red lights and begin to stop the car. Meanwhile, the red light screen also remind the drivers to notice the situations of the traffic lights.
