Flicker is a self power generated and power saving life jacket which uses the power generation principle of ionic reaction between metal materials and seawater. The ionics in seawater will drive the LED to flicker. Flicker is made of PLA (C3H6O3)n, which is an environmental friendly material with good degradability. Precedent life jackets are not able to send out an SOS. It is difficult for rescuers to find victims especially in darkness. The metal rods on Flicker will have ionic reaction and drive the LED to flicker, which can show the position to rescuers.
