Microwave is mostly used for reheating food stuff. But intricacy in programmable functions has restraint its usage. Complexity in UI has forced elder generation (50 years and above, in India) to move away from these appliances.Inspiration to solve these problems arise from our day to day interaction with elder generation. We tend to guide/navigate them through any task, which in-turn make them feel comfortable.
This sense of navigation/guidance in user interface solves the former problems effectively. In this interface design every next step is displayed on the screen and respective control to program it is highlighted (breathing light).
