In life, the dosage of salt is closely related to our health, but it is a problem that how much to use the salt. The ingredient of the design employ sensitivity high molecular materials. It will change corresponding color based on the size of the force. It is visual how much we take in the dosage of salt.
Researchers who are in the university of Illinois created composite materials which will change the color automatically with the fracture or deformation. This material add a mechanical sensitivity high molecule named "Mechanophore", which will become bright red or purple in the condition of crush and traction because of chemical reaction.
