Luke Stairwalker / stairway walking aid

Luke Stairwalker

In germany live about 1.1 million elderly people, who can not independently live their lives without the help of the nurses. A big problem is among other things the mobility without the help of a second person. The stair running is therefore a major hurdle, which can come very early to an elderly person. Since almost all stair railings are designed un-ergonomic, a safe power handle is almost impossible and the fear of a fall is very high.

The LUKE STAIRWALKER system sustainably improve the mobility of people with physical limitations and could be integrated in public space as well as in privat space.
