Grower / pencil extender

Grower is designed as Giveaway for May 2013 graduates in Industrial Design and Communication Design in the University of Art Braunschweig. The design ideas are usually visualized and developed by pencil. The pencil gets shorter after utilization. As pencil extender, Grower uses a simple but effective design to lengthen the pencil‘s lifespan. The product is a long open wooden tube with internally beveled alumina ring to tie to the pencil. The whole design gives a new life to the shortened pencil using environmentally friendly material and unique shape. Each Grower is unique, just as the uniqueness of each graduate .
