AEON / washing basin

In our hectic daily life we often forgt to consciously perceive our environment. With the thought of paying daily rituals and the beauty of valuable resources more attention, AEON was created. The washbasin is characterized by its simple form and unusual interaction: it fills with water by gentle pressure on the rim and drains with a small upwards tilting movement. AEON consists of two vials, which lay on top of each other. The water runs in the inner vial, floods it and drains over the outer vial, which creates an “infinity pool” effect. AEON releases the ritual of washing from the mundane and gives the user the opportunity to come to rest.
