For centuries, the Japanese tea ceremony has provided a pathway for deceleration caused by mindfulness and conscious living in the here and now. The title “Achtsam – Raum für Tee“ stands for a brand concept and a corporate design for a Japanese tearoom. The Japanese ritual is transferred into the European world and offers efficient breaks in our fast moving everyday life. Subtly used Zen Buddhistic design features pay a western homage to eastern aesthetics. In addition to typical media like business equipment and brochures, corporate photographies, handmade teabowls, tea packaging, a multisensual tea menu and a website were developed.
