Trapez / rocking chair

Trapez
Trapez

The movement of a rocking chair is a whole-body experience which alternates between an active and passive state. It recalls childhood memories and gives us peace or excitement.
Trapez is an interpretation of a modern, sustainable rocking chair using traditional materials like ash wood, leather, steal and linen.

The angular frame is softened by the pattern of the ash wood and creates an exciting surface. The seat is sewed by using geometric shaped thick leather - therefore it is comfortable and aesthetic.
Once worn down the leather can be replaced and the frame restored so you are able to keep your favourite rocking chair for decades.
