The concept was created to provide a local response to the global problems caused by the increasing consumption of bottled water all over the world.
‘Hanga’ is a water filter pitcher that is made by local potters using locally sourced, environmentally low impact materials, thus helping craftsmen to redefine their product range.
It consists of a handmade terracotta jug and an exchangeable activated carbon water filter, providing tasty drinking water free of impurities.
Thanks to the terracotta material used, the pitcher keeps the water cool by natural evaporation so no need to store it in the refrigerator
