Franz Sans / font design & web design

Franz Sans

Sharp angles combine with round corners to make Franz Sans appear both powerful and pleasant at the same time.
Franz Sans is an optical, mono-linear grotesque. The details work best in display sizes for web and print projects. The Open-Type-Format (otf) allows for the use of different style sheets for example the change of the “a” in the hole text with all its diacritics. 628 glyphs contain ligatures, lining figures, old style figures, pictograms, and many more for over 30 different languages. The bold typeface was designed for my bachelor degree and it is presented on the self-designed one page programmed by Fabian Bach: www.franzsans.de.
