In many schools there is a lack of basic facilities such as chairs and tables where most children walk a significant distance to reach the school. This design solves an everyday problem for children in underprivileged areas. It is a multi-functional backpack for primary school children. The backpack itself opens into a padded stool with a board to press on while working. This allows for an educational environment to be created in any location, beyond the four walls of a classroom. This can positively change children's lives by providing easily transportable, flatpack furniture that improves their current, daily circumstances.
