The Problem: the rural infrastructure of developing countries is insufficient for proper medical care. Moreover, medical devices are rarely adapted to local conditions.
For example: surgical instruments are boiled at temperatures that are too low and are not stored in proper sterilized environments. This results in devastating consequences for the patients. "RSO one" constitutes a simple way of sterilizing surgical instruments and filtering water of any quality. The device combines technology and handling a low-budget-production, transportation of the device, and giving the system a unique design.
