The ‘FourOunces’ Saucepan / Cookware

The ‘FourOunces’ Saucepan
The ‘FourOunces’ Saucepan

Large saucepans are a kind of indispensible cookware in kitchens all over the world. However the traditional large saucepans are often horribly heavy, especially when it’s full of food such as soup, stew, or simply just water. As a result, when the elderly try to use such kind of utensil, inconveniences or even physical harm will be likely to happen. We combined this traditional Chinese theory with the quote of Archimedes: ‘Give me a stick long enough and a pivot and I shall move the earth!’ And we got this, the “Si-Liang” Large Saucepan, whose name came from the Tai-Chi quote: ‘Si-Liang’ (four ounces) can repel one thousand Gin (Pounds).
