Waste treatment has been one of the most challenging problems affecting modern city development. The major part of the garbage bin is occupied by uncompressed drink bottles, tetra pak and etc., which can not be utilized to the largest extent. At the same time, either during transportation or manual sorting, those unclassified waste results in tremendous resource wasting.
Protecting birds in cities is another hot topic as well. Nest aims to promote the interactions between human and birds to develop empathy by empty bottle/bird food exchange based on waste classification.
