About 60 per cent of newborns show signs of jaundice in the first days of their lives. Generally, their yellow coloring does not require treatment, for it fades on its own. In severe cases, special light therapy is necessary. This new phototherapy device will facilitate the treatment of neonatal jaundice. Particular attention is payed to ergonomics and the suitable technical design of this device, which is equipped with OLED blue lamps and emit light with a wavelength of 460 newton-metres. The compact, sturdy frame ensures safe use of the device and simple control of the OLED panels.
