This design is from a cooperative course offered by my college and Bazzar Jewelry, a magazine, and Xuberance, a 3D printing company. And the theme is dance. We were required to design jewelry based on 3D printing manufacture.
Inspired by classical ballet Giselle. The heroine Giselle was a pure and kind country girl, abandoned by her noble lover, died for her broken heart. Then she became a fairy on the river bank of Rhine, torturing the souls of love rats.
The antler-shaped form stands for the innocent deer-like character of Giselle, and the woods along the Rhine bank. The veil is a salute to the classic style of barllerinas in Giselle.
