Safe.lync is a connection system that enhances the safety, interaction and experience of pediatric patients who need to connect themselves to peritoneal dialysis machines. The simple, non-mechanical system prevents accidental touch contamination of connector openings while reducing the overall number of steps required and also the amount of packaging. This alleviates fears and reduces the anxiety to contract fatal infections. Infection-free dialysis empowers pediatric patients with the freedom to build their lives around kidney disease, not the other way round.

The concept shows an easy and quick usability with its compact, well structured design. It targets the area well considering the increasing number of pediatric patients throughout the world.
