In China, there are tens of thousands of roads being labeled “Lanes for large vehicles” and “Lanes for small vehicles” on the ground. In the light of the principle of the vision, objects seem to be larger when observed at a short distance, while they look smaller when seen in the distance. Therefore, these words cannot be recognized by drivers, as they do not present the best visual effect. In the same way, if the words in the short distance are in smaller font, it will be convenient for drivers to recognize them with more accuracy, which, in turn, increases the safety of driving.
