It happens to many toddlers when they are learning to use spoons, that the spoons keep sliding into the bottom of bowl. To avoid such a problem, here it is, the Landing Duck, the spoon we designed, that will lean against the edge of bowl without sliding further down. The whole spoon is moulded into a duck, which is in accordance with children’s cognition, that “duck landing and resting on river bank”. There exists a toroidal magnetic filed between bowl and spoon. Since the magnetic, no matter how the spoon is left inside the bowl, it will end up resting at the edge of bowl, under the combined effect of both attractive and repulsive force.
