Azimut / Public Information Device

Azimut is a 24 hour public information device running on Wi-Fi technology and powered by solar cells. This outdoor equipment provides urban users with relevant city information. A single piece device whose structure is concave shaped and concrete made to optimize the use of solar energy and shelter users. An ergonomic retractable back support can be activated during the search by presence sensor that adjusts its height to the user’s upon request. When fully retracted, wheelchairs have access as well. The device’s unique sinuous silhouette with its gracious continuity from top to bottom instigates curiosity and promotes interactions.
