Flip-over bench / Flip-over bench

Flip-over bench

Human beings need personal spaces, no matter familiar friends or total strangers. The chairs in public areas, like parks, cannot be fully used, as people usually sit on the ends and leave the middle parts unoccupied. However, if the chairs can be flipped over, which interchange the back and the downside of the chair, people sitting on them can be back to back. This creates personal spaces for users, and makes complete use of long chairs.

The salient is designed specially, along with the grooves of the chair's both sides, in order to prevent accidental flipping over when leaning on the chair.
