Currently, you may easily find an anti slip-mat at the bottom of any ordinary crutches, that is now selling in the markets. The function of the anti slip-mat is to increases the frictions while it touches any random surfaces, which will prevents a user from falling or slipping. Just like the tires, the tread pattern depth becomes very shallow and loses its function gradually as the time goes by; the anti slip-mat needs to be replaced. But normally, people would hardly notice this kind of issues while using the product, even if they do, people would not even know when to replace a new anti slip-mat.
