Lavender Pencil / Product

Lavender Pencil
Lavender Pencil

Intro: Pencils are made of wood. We have been writing with pencils, and threw pencil stumps away, which causes big waste. Now we have designed a better way to deal with pencil stumps instead of lengthening them. Our solution is to plant them.

· Every pencil stump is a seed:
Store lavender seeds in the back side of pencils where we can’t hold comfortably. When the pencils are too short to write with, plant them, then we wil get beautiful lavenders.

· Pencils are produced by recycled paper:
We recycled paper, and pulped it, then compressed it into pencils. Paper is better than wood for making pencils because we do not need to cut more trees.
