“Yan Ping N. Rd. 789” is the place called Shezi. Here is part of Taipei but looks like remote countryside. Fifty years ago, Shezi was prohibited from building any structure because of the serious flooding problems. That’s why we still can see the san-ho-yuan and wasted containers by the side of the river in this place.
We decided to make it different. We start to take down the history, natural even the ordinary life by graphic arts. Therefore, we use the walls to tell stories. We’d like to let the art into residents’ lives and inspire people to rethink the meaning of the community. Moreover, we want people know more about this place.
