Bolt / Personal Mobility Device


The connectivity between public transportation nodes and passengers’ origin has long been a problem. Bolt provides a swift ride as well as a function of uninterrupted power supply (UPS). Yet it is so portable that it is almost the same size as a laptop when folded. The vehicle is controlled by user’s center of gravity via internal pressure sensors. The design is based on a real prototype with a weight less than 3.5 kg and an endurance of 18 km. Bolt is a portable personal mobility device, and it will save a lot of time as well as reduce traffic jams.
