News report and personal experiences show that ambulances are frequently involved in traffic accidents while responding to emergency calls. Statistics indicate that there are over 16,000 emergency ambulance call outs per year, this high frequency highlights the importance of road safety for all road users during emergency responses. This need to increase traffic safety during emergency responses was the inspiration for Privilege Signal.
